Hi Anne-Marie,
Once again, thanks for the event at the allotments, it really was great. I picked up a lot of information, met some lovely people and also had a really nice time.
Thanks and kind regards,
Vicky

Hi Ann Marie, just felt like feeding back about the soup. From a personal point of view I really enjoyed myself. It was really interesting how as my work evolved more people milled round ,discussed, came together ,mixed. When I left I felt like I had been there for more than 4 hours, having talked about so much with so many. I most successful event in many ways social and educational an inspiring day. Cheers Amanda x

Hi Anne Marie,Thanks for the inviting us to Allotment Soup and thanks to everyone involved for putting on the event. Sorry to hear about the licensing problems, we had a great experience all the same. Amber and Joab had a good rummage through everyone’s veggies. We often walk past allotments, peeping over the walls as you do, but rarely get a chance to go inside, so they were really excited. I thought all the art worked really well in the environment.
Did you mention another allotment that is being reclaimed? It would be good to visit sometime. Looking forward to lots more soup, keep in touch.
Jon

I think you've done a wonderful job. growsheffield has highlighted the positivity and optimism derived from engaging with the growing world.
I think it provides a model for others to follow. Also the working practice - d oing then e-cordng everything demonstrates a very appropriate, efficient and cost-effective approach.
Has the site been reviewed / sent to decision-makers?

This is inspiring and wonderful and perfect and I can hardly believe it. There are so many 'issues' and so much gloom around, and so many competing 'big ideas', it's absolutely lovely to see the obvious thing right in front of us. Beautiful.
Thank you.

I got this letter by post:
Thank you for the beautiful event. I shall remember for ever the birds being present and singing in the lighthouse allotment. Grow Sheffield is great. I think there is a cultural shift necessary in relating to nature, urgent in food growing. The creativity and outside-the-box thinking of art will surely lead the way. Best wishes, Lois Palframan

Dear Anne-Marie,
Have kept meaning to email you since the allotments event, but it kept slipping my mind. Wanted to say how much I enjoyed it and I think you probabaly acheived a lot of what you wanted to despite the setbacks and the message was certainly conveyed. Personally I felt almost part of a little community despite not knowing anyone. Everyone was so friendly and willing to share little anecdotes and stories and I picked up some fantastic ideas for performance of 'Pamela and Amelia' if they get chance to emerge! I also felt that owning an allotment is certainly on my wish list for the future! How are you getting on with everything? Any plans for a second Allotments soup yet? I hope so,
Be in touch,
Hannah
